Lynne Best - PA to Nigel Harris & Assistant Director; National Rail Awards
Lynne joined emap in 1990 and has worked on Steam Railway and RAIL ever since – she is the department’s longest serving staff member. She has worked full-time as Nigel’s Secretary and Personal Assistant for 16 years, since March 1992 - so she’s extremely knowledgable about both steam and modern railways.
Lynne has always played an important role in the National Rail Awards – the British railway ‘Oscars’ - since its launch in 2000 and is responsible for all daily aspects of the NRA, as well as running Nigel’s diary and assisting generally with RAIL.
